Academics and Programs – Curriculum – Pre-k and K

The Beaches Episcopal School pre-kindergarten and kindergarten programs provide a wholesome environment for learning by providing a variety of experiences to develop the whole child.  Through an integrated, hands-on curriculum including a commitment to enrichment programs, students are encouraged to develop inquisitive, creative minds and a joy of learning.

Enrichment programs are a vital part of the Beaches Episcopal School curriculum. Art, Movement, Music, Library, Themed Activities, Integrated Technology, Computer, Spanish, Character Education and Christian Education provide avenues for self-expression and enhanced learning.  Students actively participate in chapel services twice weekly and share classroom prayers.  Opportunities are provided to allow students to develop responsibility and leadership skills.

A fourth teacher works to challenge and remediate students in a small group setting.  Themed Activities and Integrated Technology (IT) are taught using a SMARTBoard to supplement the work done in the classroom.
