How do I enroll my child in Beaches Episcopal School and when should the

What criteria are used for admission to Beaches Episcopal School?
Students applying to pre-kindergarten and kindergarten at Beaches Episcopal School are administered the Gesell Developmental Assessment. Students first grade through sixth grade are evaluated using the Gates-MacGinitie grade level standardized test.

Is extended day available?
Yes. Before school care is offered from 7:00 a.m. – 7:45 a.m.
After school care for pre-kindergarten is from 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and for kindergarten – grade six – 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Absolutely. Beaches Episcopal School parents are an integral part of our school community and are actively involved in many areas of campus life. The Parent Support Organization (PSO) offers a wide range of opportunities for parents to share their time and talent.
Are there after school programs at Beaches Episcopal School?
Students can choose from a wide variety of after-school activities for an additional fee determined by individual program coordinators. After-school programs offered include individual Suzuki violin lessons, band, Act It Out (a Reader’s Theatre-type program), Stretch and Grow, F.A.C.E. (an acronym for Fitness and Character Education), Kidz Speed, Cheerleading, Flag Football, Youth Choir and Artoga (yoga for kids). All after-school instructors have taken the Safe Guarding God’s Children class as specified by the Episcopal Diocese, and the school has a copy of the instructor/program’s current insurance liability certificate on file.

Traditionally the largest majority of Beaches Episcopal School students continue on at Episcopal High School. Additionally some Beaches Episcopal School students will go on to attend many of Jacksonville’s most prestigious private schools, including The Bolles School, Providence School, Catholic Schools plus other Duval County Public and magnet schools.

No. Beaches Episcopal School does not proselytize and has families of all faiths and denominations.
Do you have a lunch program?
Yes. Students may bring lunch from home or participate in our lunch program. Lunches can be ordered online monthly.
Is financial aid available at Beaches Episcopal School?
Yes. Financial aid is available to families that qualify with students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Applications for financial aid are available upon request after December 1 prior to the school year the child will be attending.
