Reaching Out to Our Community

In a year of a changing economy, Beaches Episcopal School has continued to reach out and support our community.  During the 2009-2010 school year, the PSO Community Outreach Committee offered many opportunities for students, parents and staff to share their blessings with a our community in need. Last year, our BES family made a heart-felt impact throughout Jacksonville, the Beaches and Ponte Vedra. Together, we accomplished the following:

  • The Jacksonville Humane Society received a large monetary contribution along with an overflowing truck full of items off of their wish list during our annual Blessing of the Pets.

  • Thanksgiving baskets were graciously assembled with food donations, including a $25 grocery gift certificate for 20 local families in need.

  • 125 area children received special Christmas stockings with your gifts as part of the Salvation Army Fill-A-Stocking program.

  • Spring provided us with the opportunity to bless 19 local children with the Florida Baptist Children’s Home with beautiful Easter baskets.

We encourage our children to reach outside our local community and realize the impact they can make in others' lives.  As a top Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra private school, BES strives to make a positive impact on the world around us.
