BES Summer Camp 2020 OverviewBES is excited to release details about our 2020 Summer Camp program. This year, our day camp will fall under the ESJ Summer program within the Episcopal School of Jacksonville website. Since BES will be merging with ESJ in July 2020, we thought it would be wise to begin the transition in this way. BES students rising into PreK4 through sixth grade in the fall of 2020 may participate in our fun-filled camp program this year.
Health and Safety COVID Action Plan for Episcopal Summer Programs on BES Campus
BES Summer Camp is ready for your students! In addition to our already popular day camp for rising Pre-K 4 through 3rd grade students, we are excited to share that we have added incredible on-campus and virtual offerings for BES students and the beaches community all the way up through rising 6th graders! We are prioritizing the health of your child, camp faculty, and staff through proactive measures. Camp staff are undergoing training for health precautions and best practices in regard to COVID-19, and we will have additional safety protocols in place that you can read here. We are excited to welcome students for a fun and safe camp experience at BES.

FALA Spanish (Pre-K 4 - Grade 6)
Immerse your child in Spanish Camp for a week of fun, learning, and adventure. Children will discover one different country each week. Imagine your child discovering the lifestyles, customs, artists, musicians, and inventors of major Spanish-speaking countries. FALA Spanish Camp offers age-appropriate activities that uniquely incorporate different subjects. At FALA's Camp your child will learn Spanish through fun activities such as STEM, cooking, Mini Copa America 2020 soccer, Lego bots, art, music, dance, themed party, and many games! Our program teachers your child the value of embracing different cultures, serving their community and reflecting God's love so they will become global citizens. Classes are taught by native Spanish speaking instructors and give your child the opportunity to authentically learn a second language.
I’m Telling! The Art and Craft of Storytelling (Grades 1-3, Grades 4-6, depending on the week)
This hands-on camp will guide students through the storytelling process through demonstration, exploration and participation.
